How to set up employee attendance tracking in your store

Setup takes about 15 minutes. No need to buy turnstiles, terminals or fingerprint scanners — a printer and some tape are enough.

  1. Add each store or pharmacy as a branch in your dashboard.
  2. Set a schedule: the default is 09:00–18:00, Mon–Fri, with a 60-minute break — adjust it to the store's hours.
  3. Print the QR code and put it up by the staff entrance.
  4. Employees send their phone number to the Telegram bot and are linked to their branch automatically.

From then on, cashiers and sales staff scan the code in the Telegram mini app when they arrive and leave. Any smartphone with Telegram and mobile internet works — nothing to install.

15 minutes before opening

For a store, the minutes before opening matter most. As soon as a cashier scans the code, they appear as checked in on the live screen. If a store still has no one by opening time, you see it immediately and have time to call the employee or send someone from a nearby branch.

It's the same for pharmacies and supermarkets: you learn about a problem before a customer hits a locked door, and late minutes are recorded automatically.

Attendance tracking for retail chains

As a chain grows, the owner can no longer keep an eye on every store personally. Attendy has roles: the owner sees every branch, admins see the data they've been given access to, and store managers see only their own store. Everyone sees only the data for their role, and all data is sent over HTTPS.

The same rules for everyone

You set the rules for late arrivals and fines, and the system applies them equally to everyone. Suspicious scans — signs of an emulator, identical coordinates, impossible jumps in distance — are flagged for the manager.
